
Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem should be examined as a display of His compassionate love and mercy, as well as His Kingship over all. These events leading up to His crucifixion, including His own foretelling of His death and resurrection, are a display of God’s sovereignty. Jesus’ preparation for peace and His fulfillment of prophecy ultimately reveals Him as the long-awaited Messiah.
