Our heartbeat for shepherding our children at Evident Church can be found below, however, we fully believe that true spiritual growth and health starts and is maintained within the home. We would love for you to walk alongside our Evident Families as we raise our children up in the way they should go.
WHAT YOUR KIDS CAN EXPECT
Fun and energetic worship time, exciting Bible lessons, and teachers with a heart for leading children to Jesus can be found each Sunday morning here at Evident Church! In our Toddler – 5th grade classrooms we have age-appropriate curriculum leading our children through sections of the Bible while games tying into the lessons will get our kids up and moving. Our rooms are filled with laughter and fun to help the lessons imprint on their hearts and minds.
SAFETY: Safety is key and all of our volunteers/staff have been background checked and our church has a fantastic Security Team in place each Sunday. We have an easy check-in system to ensure only the appropriate people can pick up each child, and adults are not allowed into the kids area unless picking up/dropping off a child. Teachers never change diapers or help children in the bathroom. If a child needs a diaper change or assistance in the bathroom, we text the parent immediately.
NURSERY
(8 weeks - 17 months)
Loving and experienced teachers are eagerly waiting to care for the littlest hearts at Evident Church! It is important for families to have peace knowing their infants are safe and well cared for while parents and guardians can be fed God's Word in the Adult Worship Service. We also have a private space for nursing mothers in our nursery.
This classroom holds up to 8 children and we have a 1:3 teacher to child ratio.
TODDLER
(18 months - 35 months)
Our toddlers absolutely love this classroom! Filled with fun, inviting toys, this room has an excellent balance of free play and age-appropriate structure for this curious bunch! Our program offers a Large Muscle Worship & Dance time using different props (scarves, pom-poms, hand bells, parachute, etc), an easy-to-understand Bible lesson, an engaging craft, and then we finish our lesson with a final Large Muscle Worship & Dance time. We teach the same Bible Truth lesson all month long, but have different Large Muscle props and crafts each week to keep our kids' interest. The toddlers have the best time, even if they give their parents a few tears at drop off; the tears only last a few minutes ~ promise! (Tears at drop-off are age-appropriate and typical for this age. We are happy to love on any children that need extra comfort.) The first 15 minutes and the last 15 minutes of each service are free play for the children so they can explore, play, and build trust/relationships with the teachers and other children.
The Toddler classroom holds up to 8 children and we have a 1:4 teacher to child ratio.
PREschool &
PRE-K to KINDERGARTEN
(3 & 4 Year Olds)
(5 Year Olds - Kindergarten Graduation)
These two rooms use the same fun, quick-paced curriculum to keep the children’s attention as we learn the truth of the Bible! Each lesson begins by reading The Beginner Bible and teaching the story in a way kids can understand. After the story we play an active or sensory game that reinforces the Bible story, and we end our lesson with a unique craft that again ties in the lesson. Having a consistent structure where the children learn through sight, sound, physical activity, and art helps the children have greater long-term retention of the lesson, all while having a blast at the same time! Our Preschool classroom joins the Pre K/Kindergarten and Elementary students for Praise and Worship time in our Kids' Lobby before the start of our lesson time. The kids love singing and dancing for Jesus! The first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes of each service are free play so the children can build relationships with their peers and teachers.
The Preschool classroom, (3 & 4 year olds), holds up to 12 children, and we have a 1:8 teacher to student ratio.
The Pre K - Kindergarten classroom, (5 years - Kindergarten graduation), holds up to 14 children, and we have a 1:10 ratio
Elementary
(1st - 5th Grade)
Our Elementary class dives deep into the Bible every Sunday to see how each story, Old & New Testaments, points us to Jesus and the saving grace of the Gospel. On top of our Bible Lessons, we focus on learning the books of the Bible, how to navigate the Bible, the Fruit of the Spirit, and the 10 Commandments. We teach the truth of God's Word, discuss the moral points found in each lesson, and always discover the connection to Jesus. The children all locate the scriptures we are covering in their Bibles (we have many in class if needed!) and we read the text together. We learn the overall message of the passage in a way that makes sense to them, and then we play a fun and active game to get their bodies moving and their brains further retaining the lesson point. Our kids have the best time each Sunday! The first and last 10 minutes of each service is Free Play allowing the kids to build friendships with their peers and teachers. Arrive up to 15 minutes prior to service for extra hang-out time!
An element of extra fun that we have in class is our Evident Cash. We have awesome prizes in our Kids Store like Legos, Plushies, Bibles, Bible Cases, fidget toys, treats, and so much more! Kids earn Evident Dollars each week for participating in the following:

Bringing their own Bible and tithe
Memorizing Bible Verses, and more!
REGISTER FOR KIDS' CHECK-IN BEFORE YOU COME!
To save time on your first visit, register your family ahead of time! Follow the link below and fill out the parental/guardian information, then add each child (found at the bottom of the form). Then when arriving at Evident Church, visit our Kids' Check-In area and we will help you print out name tags for each child and a unique receipt for the parents to pick up the kids at the end of service.
