On Palm Sunday, Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem should be examined as a display of His compassionate love and mercy, as well as His Kingship over all. These events leading up to His crucifixion, including His own foretelling of His death and resurrection, are a display of God’s sovereignty. This week leading up to Easter Sunday, we will focus on Jesus’ preparation for peace and His fulfillment of prophecy, which ultimately reveals Him as the long-awaited Messiah.
