Romans 11:1-24 | What about Israel?
Has God’s plan for Israel failed? Has God rejected His people because of their rejection of Him? These are the questions Paul turns to next. In Romans 11:1-24, Paul speaks about God's plan of salvation for Israel. Having just described them in the last verse of the previous chapter as a “disobedient and contrary people,” he speaks now about their relationship to God. He asks, “Has God completely washed His hands of all the Jews or in their present state of rejecting Christ as a whole, has He entirely cast them all off?” Thankfully, Paul will tell us that this is not the case, and God has a plan for the future salvation of all whom are His, whether Jew or Gentile.
