Does the Bible support slavery? Maybe you’ve read verses like 1 Timothy 6:1-2 or others and wondered, “Why doesn’t the Bible condemn slavery? And, why does it even seem to support it?” In fact, over the years, tragically, many, including Bible believing Christians, have used the Bible to support the practice of slavery. How can the Bible be true, God’s Word, and eternal, if it supports things like that?
