Jesus is the perfect example of Christian love in action. Though He was God, He humbled Himself and took on the very nature of a servant. While Jesus is much more than an example, we must also look to Him as an example and seek to model our lives after Him. Since Christ laid down His love willingly for us, we must also lay down our lives willingly for one another in Christ. Jesus is the ultimate example of humble servant leadership.
